Club volleyball is a BIG DEAL
in Western WA. All the best High School players participate on a club team
during the off season.
If you are interested in playing truly competitive
volleyball in High School and maybe even in college.

PLAYING CLUB!
Most clubs hold tryouts in November - and some club tryouts are harder than others. Teams are designated by age, so all the players on a team are usually in the same grade, but from different schools. Typically the season runs from December through May and involves 2 evening practices during the week and a full day tournament about one or two Saturdays or Sundays per month. Practice locations & tournament sites vary by club.
Cost also varies by club - so does the quality of the coaching and play, so if you are considering clubs, ask around to make sure you get all the info - talk to other players about club and talk to your coach. It's a big commitment, but it's worth it!
